In 2015, Alix Waline and Sabatina Leccia initiated a collaboration based on the resonances of their respective worlds.
Their approaches converge in the priority given to experimentation, the attention paid to materials, the use of the tactile sense to create the visual object. Both work instinctively by pixelation to shape space - with the accumulation of embroidery stitches or the superimposition of swarms of drawn stitches creating relief effects. They integrate the random and the accidental in the service of an aesthetic of abstract, moving and evolving forms.
