Artwork  "Shelter" for ComPeung Village of Creativity

I was invited to stay for one month at this artist residency in the countryside around  Chiang Mai in Thailand.

I focused on a site specific wall drawing inside a round house, investing an entire space to experiment the possibility of modifying its perception by graphic touches.  

On one wall I wanted to bring a suffle inside. This earthbag house, built from stacked bags of earth, this type of sustainable house is totally organic and the walls are literally breathable. 

As the surface is not flat it was necessary to play with the different textures and roughnesses

On the circular wall of this round house, I let drops of ink flow from the top of the walls to obtain a "weeping wall"  .
